We’re still installing the mardox web sites on the new server. Some members have found that they can not log-in at this time. This is due to a database issue. Our programmers need to re-script all the sites to conform with the new server configuration. We expect to have all the Mardox pages up and running within the next 48 hours.

We have finished work on viib.net and kewlrank.com. We’ve also finished installing all our current hosting clients.

We moved to a new server due to the increase in traffic to some of our sites. Hence, we how have the space and bandwidth too resell to our clients and members.

Hello everyone,

It’s been decided finally after 6 months, that Mardox will not engage in automated recurring credit card processes. Rather we are implementing a new protocol for our recurring Credit Card payments. Our members, users and clients will initiate a payment for the first time. After a stated duration. 30 days for example, the client will receive an e-mail informing them that their account is approaching it’s expiry date. The first e-mail will be sent out 1 week before the renewal date. A second e-mail will be sent out 3 days before the renewal date and one last e-mail on the expiry date.

Clients will be required to manually re-new their recurring services before the expiry date or the services will not continue.

What did we choose this route?

In the past we have had problems with recurring clients either not understanding what a recurring payment was or that they simply forgot what they were paying for. This new protocol will allow us to maintain a higher level of service for our clients and our clients will retain much more control on their payment process.

What mardox site use reoccurring payments?

So far only the Mardox Memberships require a recurring payment of 59.95 per month. All other services are setup on a as you go payment program. OpenSubmit.net will be setup on a yearly payment process with a reminder e-mail once each month.

Please feel free to leave any questions or comments on this post. We will be more then happy to review them and reply.

We thank you for reading.

We will be conducting upgrades and other development tasks to various Mardox web sites. Some downtime is necessary for these upgrades. We will conduct the scheduled upgrades while the server is accessible to our members. Members, visitors, and users may see some strange results during the point of access.

When will these upgrades occur?

These upgrades will occur throughout the date of November 29th 2011 and finish in the evening of November 30th 2011. We may require approximately 16 hours to conduct these changes.

What sites will be effected?

We are upgrading the following domains in the next 16 hours…

Kewlrank.com, Toyt.com, NiceSearch.com, OpenSubmit.net, Mardox.com and all third-level domains associated with mardox.com, Approximately 100 other web sites will be upgraded buy have no effect on any of the Mardox members or users.

What are these Upgrades.?

Some of you have noticed the downtime with our servers and sites in the past week. Although not confirmed by our hosting provider, we think the downtime is due to our programming with KewlRank.com. This web site was connecting too often and too quickly to the SQL database. In theory this would cause a site wide lock out for our users.

SQL databases have a maximum user limit. A limit per second and a limit for repeated access. These limits are designed to lockout hackers and defend the database. We are reprogramming our sites to respect a smaller Max User limit. In the past week we have also re-programmed may of our sites to access the SQL Database more efficiently.

None of these upgrades will effect our users data or personal information.

Thank you for you understanding.

The Mardox Development Team.

UPDATES

November 29th 2011, at 9:00 pm EST

We are finished with the toyt.com updates and are starting the KewlRank.com updates. Now that all the bugs are out of our new scripting, we would be able to get the changes done much faster. Those of you that use OpenSubmit.net will find that the site will be offline for a while tonight. This site is much more interactive then the others and will require a shutdown while we make the changes.

November 29th 2011, at 9:44 pm EST

Kewlrank.com is now updated and seems to be working properly. Post a comment if anyone encounters any problems.

Hello everyone,

We are almost done re-programming the www.toyt.com web sites. Users are already starting to create their accounts. You can join the web site at http://www.toyt.com. the site will be fully functional by this Monday December 5th 2011.

Users with a Mardox account will automatically have access to the toyt.com web site. Simply access your Mardox Member Area and locate the tab labeled Other Services, and select Toyt.com.

What is it? And how does it work?

Toyt.com is an ad exchange network. Our members want their ads seen on others websites and so do you. Who doesn’t want to have their ad seen on thousands of web pages?

This services is truly 100% Free. There is no trial, No catches, No upgrades and No Limits. Want to promote 10, 100 or even 1000 web pages? Then go ahead. This service depends on how many time you show other members ads on your web sites.

Lets say on Monday, you received 1,000 unique visitors to your web pages. On Tuesday your ads will be shown 1,000 times.
